Impact of Charging Stations on EV Sales

In recent years, the global focus on combating climate change and promoting renewable energy has intensified, leading to increased popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) as governments plan to ban gasoline-based cars. However, the availability of EV charging stations remains a significant obstacle to widespread adoption. This project investigates the relationship between the number of EV charging stations and EV sales in California, the most populous state in the US, by analyzing sales data from various manufacturers and governmental sources. By creating and analyzing a comprehensive database, we aim to uncover potential correlations and provide insights into the EV market, applying skills in data cleaning, validation, modeling, SQL, and data visualization to achieve meaningful conclusions.
